By using AasPaas Connect, you agree to the collection and use of information in
accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect
We only collect the absolute minimum data required to connect a customer with a local business.


A. For Consumers (General Visitors looking for services)

  1. Search Queries: The Pincodes or Area names you enter into our search bar to find local listings.

  2. Device & Usage Data: Basic technical logs, including your IP address, browser type, and mobile device identifiers, to optimize your video playback performance.

  3. No Mandatory Account Creation: Consumers can browse, filter, and stream video presentations completely anonymously without sharing their name, email, or phone number.

 

B. For Service Providers / Vendors (Sellers listing their business)

  1. Profile Metadata: Your Business Name, Owner’s Full Name, Business Category, Locality, and 6-digit Pincode.

  2. Communication Links: The specific WhatsApp Business or personal phone number you choose to display for customer inquiries.

  3. Media Assets: The 60-second video presentation link (YouTube, Vimeo, or third-party cloud URLs) that you submit for public streaming.

  4. Billing Information: When you pay our annual subscription or verification fee, your transaction is processed entirely by our secure third-party payment gateway (e.g., Razorpay / Cashfree or anyother). We do not store your credit card, debit card, or net banking passwords on our servers.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly to run a friction-free discovery engine:

  • To display matching service providers based on a consumer’s requested Pincode or Category.

  • To route consumers directly to the vendor WhatsApp chat space when they click the Connect on WhatsApp link.

  • To verify the authenticity of a business listing before pushing it live to the public directory.

  • To track website performance, monitor video loading speeds, and prevent system spam.


3. Anti-Spam & The Data-Sharing Promise (Our Core Difference)
Unlike traditional local directories, we hate spam.

  1. We Never Sell Data: We will never sell, rent, trade, or share a consumer& search behaviour, device metrics, or private identity with third-party telemarketing agencies.

  2. Direct Interaction Only: When a consumer clicks a business listing, their data goes only to that specific business owner via WhatsApp. We do not broadcast consumer contact numbers to ten different competing businesses.


4. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

  • Public Vendor Data: A vendor’s video, business name, and location remain visible for the duration of their paid subscription cycle.

  • Right to Delete: Any listed business owner can request the permanent removal of their profile at any time. Upon receiving a cancellation request at our support email, we will permanently purge your video links, contact metadata, and internal database records within 48 hours.


5. Third-Party Services & Embedded Content
Our directory embeds video elements from external services (like YouTube or Vimeo) to stream 60-second presentation clips. These external platforms may collect your IP address or place cookies when you hit play. We highly recommend reviewing the privacy policies of YouTube and Vimeo regarding embedded player tracking.

 

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to align with new local data compliance rules. Any changes will be posted directly on this page with an updated & Effective Date at the top.
